    You've also made the claim that the lower wages are relative because other expenses are less in NZ.
    Which expenses are these you speak of?
    NZ minimum wage is $15 per hour, Australia is close to $18 per hour
    Price of petrol in NZ is over $2 per litre, price of petrol in Australia is $1.20 per litre.
    That doesn't look too relative to me?????
    NZ also has higher heating costs.
    Cost of loaf of bread in NZ = $1.55, Australia $1.80 but the minimum wage is more than $3 higher.
    2 litres of milk in NZ = $3.60, in Australia around $3.
    It's so relative, that is why people in NZ are always broke and goes some way to explaining why more than 15 percent of NZ's population is living in Australia.
    I think we all know who has had the wool pulled over their eyes.
