Mining block 28-B was previously reported as a grade of 5.81 carats per 100BCM.
At the time I felt it was a little low but was impressed with the high average diamond size of 1.48 carats.
It appears to me that the diamonds at block 28-B are of a larger size so a much larger sample would be needed to be mined to get a better understanding of actual average grade.
After this latest find IM confident that the average grade at block 28-B may actually be closer to 10 carats per 100BCM.
