Dex:These companies formed as a response to a problem. Dave: They formed in response to a percieved problem.
Dex:They didn't form and then invent the problem in order to make business for themselves. That would be absurd and impossible. Dave: It is now clearly in their interests to maintain that the percieved problem is in fact a real problem.
Dex Fact: there are massive amounts of money and power behind the status quo, climate change sceptic, pro-hydrocarbon industry point of view and the other side of the debate has nothing but the weight of scientific evidence. Dave: If you say so dex, but I doubt the scientific evidence from either side as they both have a vested interest.
