This will be entirely dependent on the feasibility of technologies for further sludge treatment. Obviously, extensive treatment is only attractive for a high sludge volume . Generally it will go through additional dewatering followed by aerobic/anaerobic processes. MABRs feature a relatively low sludge production so I think dewatering and direct disposal is there most cost-efficient option here most of the time especially since they're dealing with relatively low wastewater flow.
Whatever they do with the sludge is out of emc's technology. They will just use the most feasible conventional option available in the market
