Based on what I have read to-date, as at mid-Jan 2017 neither ICARUS nor Mesmer leads the c-uav pack.
An English company has developed the AUDS c-uavs, which has the world's only TRL-9 status. TRL-9 is technology readiness level 9, being the highest level. AUDS performed very well when heavily tested and evaluated by military and govt. agencies in the last 18 months. And its sales to these agencies are climbing.
Then there is CISCO taking c-uav technology in a different direction by using machine learning platform. Its Dedrone system is still at early stage, but we shouldn't mock that which has the support of CISCO.
I have mentioned only two examples. You'll need to do your own research on all the other competition arising from various parts of the world.
At the end of the day, do I still like D13? The answer is yes. Because, other than Mesmer, I haven't read about the competition's ability to deal with a swarm of drones.
Cheers. R.
