What it is is that Waleed is virtually the only high profile moderate/light Muslim in Australia. He is a very Aussi, urbane, intelligent and successful individual who happens to come from an Islamic family and like virtually all people has not changed his religion. His views on Islam are unknown imo as he doesnt wish to partake of that debate which is fair enough given he makes no pronouncements on the issue, and why would he. He is of the view that the whole world should be able to get along which theoretically it should if it where not for human nature. The thread imo should have been moderated at the start given it was based on an UNEQUIVOCAL lie - that Walled had attacked "bogans' .
