It's 15% of my portfolio but my portfolio is concentrated. I don't try to predict those "black swans" and don't really like the term as it suggests these events are unpredictable.
However a slump like that in mining/oil and gas has already happened, the black swan wont happen again.
Shareholders tend to look in the rear mirror and Australia is struggling with your resources bust. Even if these conditions continue and they restore historical margins it looks cheap but longer term I have some confidence in your economy.
Was nice getting a dividend recently, I would like to see a bit more earnings recovery and pay it out of profits.
Agree really just contrarian to whatever someone tells me. It's so quiet on the threads which are actually good investments.
If there's something up ahead that's going to affect long term earnibgs I can't see it but I would like to hear any differing views as well.
