As a diabetic not on insulin I can tell you that the pump market is crowded probably because of the growth potential. The pump companies are constantly promoting their product through diabetic channels such as diabeties Australia. This is why when the IMPERIUM came out I posted that it would either be a great success or a flop . I also posted that I thought we would know in 12 months from the announcement of its existence , that was because I could not see how it would gain space unless a pharma had requested it.

The Imperium was either the mother or child of the Mini WI, which has attracted the attention of Amgen. In other words I dont think money spent on Imperium was a waste per se....
