Today's announcement clearly shows improvement on most fronts albeit a bit slower than I had hoped. How many times do you need to read the announcement to get this?
You only have a capital loss when you realise it. To say that anyone lost money today when not selling it simply incorrect. Let the time move along a couple of years and then see where we are heading? What is the rush? You don't even have an SGH share.
For me I bought my SGH share a little while back. I am many years off retirement so I really do not worry about day to day fluctuations. I does not affect may life, finances or mood the slightest bit.
Of course I would like the share price to be $8+ as it was less than two years ago. I still believe it will get there again. What year I do not know but I am pretty hopeful it will happen before my retirement.
We all have to remember that the banks and SGH are in this together. Likewise, we have paid for restructuring and performance improvement plans (UK and Australia) along the way. Once complete we don't have to spend our cash on those improvements.
Don't you think the above will do us good in the future (ie competitive advantage and economies of scale?).
