Domino's have said they are to pay $4.5m back to employees...that's only SO FAR. Half year profit is only $50m. How many more millions will they have to pay back and trim from earnings?
A new Fair Work investigation just started. Don Meij said on ABC Brisbane radio they will spot check EVERY Domino's store in Australia. Considering the pressure, if a hair is out of place, full audits will be happening.
Employees are now coming out of the woodworks and approaching Domino's direct for their wages back. There's talk of an independent wage return organization for Domino's, and an inquiry into franchise "wage theft" in Australia.
