i find it very interesting that they tied the downturn in Oz business to brand damage, ie, that they mentioned the 'negative perception' about the company at all, and as a driver for the performance. Why do that? Is all this part of setting the scene for the upcoming litigation, '..and here are the far reaching damaging outcomes which you have caused through your negligence/ your non disclosure/ your misrepresentations etc.. not only have we written off 1B in goodwill assets in the uk but we estimate x impact on our Australian business..'
