Quite the opposite, marketing is a great idea and essential to the success of most businesses.
But you target your marketing to improve revenue (and hopefully profit).
I don't understand how marketing to investors and potential investors will help to improve revenue.
The marketing efforts and budget would be better directed towards customers and potential customers.
