The Jannesen rise was anticipation (and in hindsight apparently with reason - possibly even leaked? If the war stories are anything to go by they pretty much got a verbal yes and a few days later the company switched direction and virtually shut down the area looking at PYC)
This time the SP hadn't moved (although there was a tiny bit of increased volume) prior to Genetech and it all happened pretty slowly after. I take some of the blame for that cause I went after anything under 2.5c after the announcement cause I reckon that was without doubt the most significant external validation since I have been involved.
I think the data pack or discussions at JPM in Jan stirred up further interest and From there discussions are ricocheting around. 5 MTAs in the last year or so and a search for a CEO would have lots more people looking at this stock IMHO and for good reason.
