Something to think about

It seems investors are more interested in the FERC decision than reading about other positive news like Timbo’s excellent post on ‘Shell launches first LNG Outlook’, so here are a couple of other things to think about:

The list of LNG executives I mentioned in my previous post shows they are all Americans who have held senior positions in major American energy companies, three of whom (Greg Vesey, Philip Moeller and Paul Cavicchi) were granted share rights in December totalling over 2 million shares.

LNG LTD is now run by nearly all American executives (most of whom seemed to be based in Houston, Texas) and there is a pretty fair chance that Donald Trump’s pro American energy policy makers would like to see the next shovel ready LNG liquefaction export project being American owned, especially given the recent interest from India, South Korea and Japan in the gulf coast’s LNG.

Maybe I’m way off the mark here but this could point to a possible reason for the FERC delay, and without clarity from management regarding the FERC decision, this is hardly more speculative than anything else that’s been posted lately. At least if this was the case, there could be a sharp rise in the SP.
