Galaxy Resources: Courage

It's been a while since I have written here and can also appreciate the reason I was moderated and placed on the bench.

Despite that during that time my last post may not have been positive nor negative. - It was just seeking a general view.

With that said I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the various postings on this and many of the other forums, plus also the break away which allows the ability to decompress and learn from something different.

Whilst I was away my friend @airconditioner suggested I inspect a different opportunity and it was funny he mentioned it because I had been researching exactly the same one. - With that said so had many others from various sides of the lithium fence which were all massive plusses and gave those that took the opportunity and continue to do so some incredible gains.

Whilst I will still always have a strong affinity with Galaxy Resources and can see an ongoing value for what lies ahead I am taking a bit of a knee and just letting things take the pace they need to.

One request I made is that the company always is upfront if they might fail to achieve a target.

The announcement today and also it's predecessor indicates to me that the company has heeded that advice and are open to sharing with everyone if things might be about to go pear shaped.

That to me is a good company worthwhile investing in. - However admittedly I don't mind if people invest in the company or they don't. It will be the fundamentals that continue to drag the stock upward along with the right communication for all of the holders.

There are so many enjoyable posters in this forum that I just want to express my appreciation for all of you in contributing and using the BS spray when the time was required.

I have been quite disappointed at some of the criticism that my friend Joe Lowry has had of late and prior to my benching.

It is a humble request that I ask people to be kind and respectful to him. - I really wish you all knew Joe how I know him. He is a really funny enjoyable person and not the grumpy Joe that some make out.

Joe works hard at sharing what he knows with his wealth of experience and despite my downright disappointment within this stock or the general population of lithium stocks on the market he always lends kind words to me and direction and it has never been specifically about Galaxy. - More like a pull your socks up and consider this.

He is my friend.. My confidant and someone that I can honestly say intends the absolute best.

Many may have known how he critiqued ORE. - Wouldn't you prefer to have been a holder that listened? I think even Macquarie are regretting their $5 target.

I took the time and wrote down the numbers. @crashman111 asked me the other night for fundamental analysis on a stock I didn't like. However to his credit he proved me wrong.

And that's the problem here..

People will always critisise without listening and forming their own opinion in a constructive way when it comes to share trading.

Mob mentality is not something I have wanted to take part in and the moment I see it I always challenge my investments.

So where does the subject line courage come from?

We'll it is simply this.

Whilst @airconditioner and I were discussing the capital raising I asked Joe for some advice also.. Not about what stocks I hold but how I should feel about the recent capital raising.

Joe said this to me and I am sure he would forgive me for sharing.

He pointed out that maybe I should consider that by the holding of the various people within management etc that they made the best decision for their holding and by way of that also made the best decision for mine.

It would be easy to say well look at what has happened of late.. However in my mind I looked through the benefits and I am ok with what took place.

Courage..

Courage is something we do when something might be frightening but also requires bravery.

Most of the regulars know that Anthony had made an indication that there would be no capital raising...

Though when I think about what might have been best for the company and also how difficult it might have been to fall on that sword and do something that was never intended to cause a negative affect I simply cannot help but admire Anthony's courage and bravery in doing what was necessary to move on to Galaxy Awakens IV

I didn't write this to ask anyone to buy nor sell.. Never have.. I am just sharing my perspective and wanting to say hi and that I am still here.
