Could not agree more! The term 'lost' does not quite cover the event - more so 'missed out'. Even if we had of gained said $23m by not hedging, personally I would rather hedge. It allows the company to know where its at. AGO can plan and budget knowing they have X amount of dollars coming in (as long as production plays its part). Like I said not hedging can work both ways, but once its hedged its as good as money in the bank the way I understand it.
In saying that would not be surprised to see SP fall a little further today. So I guess more buying opportunity.
