It is definitely going to be different this year with fat tyres and wider bodies. I tent to agree with you on the wider cars and narrow circuits. Will have to wait and see how the overtaking goes.
Watching F1 in 2016 was...Watch the start, maybe up to the first pit stop, hit record and watch the last 10 laps.
Let's hope there are some tighter races in 2017.
