"Takeover will still go ahead I reckon! At a lower price maybe". That depends what happens to the SP today. LIT will go up but LPD might fall. In any case, I expect that LIT would maintain the offer to reflect their goodwill even though they hold all the aces. Integrity is important in these things and LIT have been straight down the middle right through.
Whatever happens, a combined group would be beneficial to both companies.
