I for one am very happy with this move. MBE has always had a broader outlook than it seems the Clipp guys had. I see great potential in bringing together the marketing capability that MBE have with the proximity capabilities that the Clipp application has to do proper proximity marketing. You could provide point specials to people based on their habits as they walk past a Clipp enabled retailer or restaurant or bar. Now the question is do MBE management see the same potential.
