I haven't participated in rights before so I'm not sure how to derive at an opening price, we'll know tomorrow.

You're spot on regarding the likely opening price. Even though the theoretical adjusted price may be 75c, the market tends to open a few cents up, based on emotion or sudden drop in price that entice buyers.

I suppose a few cents won't make much difference if you are a pre-ann holder or holding for the really long term.
