Motorists flee tunnel fire

Smoke is pouring from Melbourne's Burnley Tunnel after a multiple motor vehicle pile-up.
Police say people are evacuating from the west end of Burnley Tunnel
approaching Kings Way.
Police have confirmed that three cars and a semi-trailer collided in the tunnel. There are reports of an explosion.
"There is a fire in there," said police spokeswoman Natalie Webster a short time ago.
"And there's a been an accident. But we can't confirm any injuries at this stage. We're in the process of heading in there."
