Pro-Donald Trump rallies across the US only attract a handful of supporters

A series of pro-Donald Trump rallies across the United States seemingly attracted less supporters than the President may have wanted.
The President called on his supporters to take to the streets in the wake of protests against his administration.
Mr Trump claimed that it would be “the biggest of them all” and pro-Trump news outlet Breitbart predicted the rallies would be “massive”.

Photos from around the country show only a few hundred people at were present at a number of the marches at any one moment.
The rallies took place in a total of 33 states including Atlanta, Florida, Denver and Washington and were organised by the Tea Party, it has been reported.
Karen Eitzel, 56, from Denver said she attended to “let the president know he’s not alone although it seems like that at times,” she told Reuters.

The crowds focused both on their support of Mr Trump but also on the lack of help they believe he is getting from the House and Senate, according to the New York Times.
More demonstrations are expected throughout the month of March as part of the White House's 'Spirit of America' outreach rallies.
