I like hearing that sort of thing.

My long-made observation is that good-quality businesses with with the best competitive positions in their respective market are often the ones that complain the most how tough things are.

That's how they manage the expectations of their customers, suppliers and employees.

Additionally, as a shareholder of a business,the last thing you'd want to hear is your CEO shouting from the rooftops, so that potential new industry entrants might hear, about just how great business conditions are.
