Tmatrix, do you consider GCR to be worthless? I've often considered that viewpoint after less than expected drill results from various prospects. I guess I hold because I don't think they are worthles - yet!

The point is, GCR have a plethera of sites with potential - none of which have yet to mature into a mining propsect. So they are at explorer status. But CH is getting closer and closer and could very well turn the company into a miner.

I like the exploration portfolio GCR have and consider it highly prospective. As the saying goes -

"the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence"

Relevance? Well I think GCR has been a grossly unrated and unloved stock because its properties are located in paddocks that are perceived to have 'brown grass'. The resources within the lachlan fold belt are yet to be qunatified and until then GCR have reason to think that they will find something.

Capital raising is not required (yet) with current cash capable of keeping the company going for some time yet. Proving up CH into an economic resource before the next cap raising is the key and must be achieved if GCR are to see higher SP value.

Just thoughts from a shareholder hoper up to his neck in it.
