    Another possible partial end-run around the NBN involves - a la the way Satellite Business Systems had the ground dug from under its feet by the unanticipatedly quick spread of the terrestrial cellular system - micro-satellites and the spread and integration of WiFi with 4 and 5G.

    However for backhaul, burrowing into the ground and finding fibre is an eternal verity...

    ... so far.
