If that was the case they'd say that, or in the very least deny the use of HF. Instead they've chosen to use tricky language and just go with "halogens".
Aside from that, some of you 'chemistry' is just plain wrong. Even a second year chem student at uni could pick holes in what you've just said. Go back and re-check your claims.
