Fidelity has USD +2 Trillion assets under management.
They have placed a USD 12M long bet on RAP. Not a huge bet, and would just be a rounding error for them even if they lose the lot...but they are amassing a controlling stake in a potentially disruptive tech in a booming and rapidly changing sector.
Note their head equities office is around 1km from MGH in downtown Boston.
Boston is a pretty small town.
