If it was as simple as ringing up the ASX and saying pretty please don't allow shorting on my company then most companies on the ASX would have done that. I loathe shorting but the only thing that is going to stop it is positive news and the construction information lull is a perfect time for them to play their games as they will play on commissioning and sales doubts.
