Obviously people killed at work is a terrible thing, but some jobs are riskier than others and the risks are known so it's arguably a lot worse for millions people (usually the poorest people) to be killed by pollution.
But the point was around the unreasonable fear of nuclear power. At it's absolute extreme worst points danger from nuclear pales in comparison to the ongoing death toll from fossil fuels that everybody just seems to take for granted.
