I suspect you are right Spyglass. Most complainants will be STH's. It is 2 years today when I first invested, having been a stalker for 3 months prior. DW seems to me to be a very competent CEO, and I've known about 60 in my career. At that level you cannot be too open as there are always scroungers looking to use any information they grab to their own advantage, and to hell with employees or shareholders alike. Judging by the reaction today we have a few here and on lse. We will no doubt have confirmation on why a CR and why now - DW usually informs us asap, once he has secured his strategy. As for the moans about a pay rise (awarded via an independent body) - all those whingers have probably turned down a number at salary rises in their careers, otherwise they would be open to a claim of hypocracy. Heaven forbid. Yes DW might have taken it as a part salary and part flow test bonus or some other blend of reward but in 120 days from now no-one will give it another thought.
To my mind this mischievous episode is being orchestrated to spite the BoD's and those who have been here since a time when they were not prepared to take a risk. Fortune favours the brave, the cautious just have to pay a higher entrance fee - we all choose when to get aboard, don't blame me!
