Again - thats great - they can announce what they want but the shorters aren't going to just give up on their positions and will hammer the stock down as they have on any announcement as history has now shown us. I own SYR shares, so don't get me wrong i want the SP up, however i am also being realistic that i doubt this will now happen despite any announcements which may be made. My beef is with the idiot management in at SYR who don't do a thing to address these ongoing issues - think they are going away? Doubt it!!
The shorters control this company not the so called management at SYR who do NOTHING to help resolve this ongoing issue. If SYR management had half a brain cell they would have been knocking on ASX/ASIC door asking them to help investigate - again, why haven't they done this? Why are they allowing their stock to be manipulated so much downwards to where its now at cheap takeover levels!!!
I'm sure some of the $6 placement investors are going to be speaking to their lawyers should this happen and hopefully management will be held accountable for ignoring the calls to do something from so many institutions and brokers.
