If anyone is planning a takeover at (or below) current prices, "on lack of news flow and promotion", they probably need to get their skates on.
It's been widely flagged that there will be a major presentation by the company later this month, which is expected to clarify (meaning announce?) their plans for the SG plant in Louisiana, and possibly elsewhere. That will attract a keen audience, and appropriate circulation of the presentation material.
On top of that, we can expect the Balama mine to start commissioning in three months time, which will probably generate lots of good publicity in the media. Actual shipment of product will start very soon after - again, that's something likely to both interest the Australian media, and to excite the investment community in the US.
All the major holders are fully aware of these pending events. How likely is it that they will want to surrender their holdings at current prices? Anyone attempting a takeover right now faces a formidable challenge.
