POSCO have been peddling this process for a long long while now without getting anyone to commit.
"Since then, POSCO has successfully completed more pilot production facilities overseas at Chile’s Maricunga Salt Lake (2013), Argentina’s Pozuelos Salt Lake (2014), and Argentina’s Cauchari Salt Lake (2015)."

LAC wasted a good chunk of money and time before abandoning the process in favour of the traditional brine route. So now POSCO are going it alone, and for lack of a feedstock, they are going in for recycling. No doubt recycling will be significant in a few years when batteries start being scrapped in number, but simple maths says it will only be a limited source of supply until the EV market matures. Whether POSCO's process will be a significant part of that recycling trend will depend on cost - anyone got an opex number???? No didn't think so
