I'll do a bit of digging tonight, though, and see what I can find regarding this.
@E_Diaz is right, it's the guy that 'The Wolf of Wall Street' was based on.
If his story is anything like the movie plot, he was an ex-Wall Street stockbroker who worked out that there was much more money to be made in price manipulation of penny stocks.
He started up his own firm (Stratton Oakmont), made a bunch of money, did a lot of drugs, consumed a lot of alcohol, and then got caught out.
