Hello mate, haven't seen your postings in a very long time.
Yeah, I am with you on many of your remarks. I too came to this company solely for the potential of Oper8tor and less because the firm was a minnow telco - but hey, what telco has done badly on the bourse? And it does no harm to have an operational revenue generating enterprise at your back. Like you, I sold down from a larger position. Anyone who has followed my span of postings will see that I was originally a very strong supporter of Vonex based entirely on the potential of Oper8tor.
Sadly, the listing unraveled for a number of reasons and it will do no good to rehash them now.
You can exonerate that earlier director for "falling on his sword" if you like. I suppose you will accept his incredible replies to ASX questioning regarding lines of credit he gave back in the day? THEY sure didn't. However, inking his blotter on the TTL listing immediately following VNX is no mere coincidence. I think more a case of the ASX joining the dots and taking a closer look at new listings arranged by old hands.
Like many, I succumbed to the numbing delay in the company regaining its composure and became openly critical for some time. In fact, most of my postings over the last year have been just to keep the pot stirring.
What we have all sought is a listing. Whether holders stay or go is by the by - its a market listing that will allow everyone to exercise their right.
In regards to consolidation - that is gonna happen no matter what. In a relatively short while we should achieve a market listing. The option the board has chosen is considered in the best interests of the shareholders. They may even dust off the cobwebs from Oper8tor about then - because without a swag of new money that will remain a diamond in the rough.
