OK. I'll see your 2 cents and raise you another two. You call Oper8tor a great app. If it was great 18 months ago, is it less great now? In other words, if it had not been invented 18 months ago but instead, yesterday, would it still have value? No change I reckon. Is it needed anymore? Was it ever needed?
Was the telephone NEEDED? We had the telegraph (steampunk SMS) and a real good postal system etc etc. Some of the best minds around thought the telephone a preposterous device that nobody had the time to blather on. Probably didn't realise that people would rather blather than do anything else.
Tsk tsk - and wasn't the phone a flop? All it gave people was immediacy, security, speed and improved the heck out of commerce.
So communication is only partly about your need to communicate with others - its also about their need to communicate to you. The biggest advantages of Oper8tor are its ability to connect to a wide range of electronic devices, phone, PC, smart TV, e-watch etc. And it's ability , via Callblast, to make that connection to every device that you have switched on simultaneously. Annoying? No - they all stop ringing as soon as you answer on the most convenient device. So your contactability (the telephone's greatest asset) just got amped up considerably. So, when you talk about "market share" -who else is in the market? Not sure why this would take such a huge marketing budget. Anyways I've mentioned it before but Thred is also having a bash at multi-connectability - but from another direction. Oh BTW, how many phone companies are there out there? Is there room for more than one player?
All the above of course, if the app can be made to work seamlessly across the widest range of social networks. The listing will enable them to finish it off.
