I tend to agree that it doesn't send the best message and I certainly have no explanation for the director's selldown. Maybe he's on the way out - time will tell. I may ring the company and ask them if they are prepared to offer any comment. If I do, I will post their response.

But in the end, just because one director has sold some of his shares, this doesn't automatically mean there is no upside for the company and its sp. From what I have seen, they make very realstic, achievable forecasts and I prefer this approach to being over-zealous and unrealistic.
