It does appear to be. Houses are being sold before we can even view them. Sydney investors are making enquiries of agents, then flying up and buying investment properties on the weekend. An agent told us they had 50 groups through a rental property. I have been looking since December, learning the market and checking out different area. It appears I missed the boat as it all changed abruptly three weeks ago. I will still be able to buy, but I will have to pay more now. We moved here because we like it and have some friends here. Now our son has settled into school, so its kind of hard to think about leaving. We just have to lower our expectations and pay up if we want to stay.
