- This project involves the design, construction and leasing of the largest ever private hospital to be built in South Australia and the first new private hospital in nearly 20 years.

Calvary Bruce Private Hospital
Total project value: $73.8 million

Lenah Valley Theatre Redevelopment

Target completion date: mid 2018

Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Units
Total project value: $9.3 million (completed)

Calvary ACT Bruce Private’s new ‘Hospital for the future’ will feature eight state of the art operating theatres accommodating everything from day surgery procedures to complex surgery in digital operating suites, along with private single rooms with hotel like ensuites and finishes.

"The new hospital is being funded by Calvary at a construction cost of nearly $62 million, with a further $6.6 million being spent on additional specialist medical and hospital equipment."

“More than 350 jobs are created during construction of the hospital. Once constructed, a further 50 new full time clinical and administrative positions will be created in addition to existing staff, who will move into the new Calvary Bruce Private Hospital.”

Even the Calvary’s Bruce Car Park (recently completed) had a project value of $17M.

With this scope of expansion going on, and the agreement with Alcidion to provide Calvary with streamlining clinical coding and patient data across all their facilities, this is looking like a massive win for Alcidion as well as a huge endorsement for future exponential growth.
