To severely push a SP in either direction (called manipulation) to the benefit of your underlying position. Its a false market at that point - one you have created with either excessive buying (or selling in this case).

What else in the company has changed other than the SP? So who is pushing it in one direction and why? Who is allowing this to happen?

I would be asking the question - who is the MAJOR FUND behind thee shorts?

SYR management know - they get reports from the ASX. You would think they would do something about this right?

Why doesn't SYR get a speeding ticket from the ASX from the massive decrease in SP?

So SYR Osterich Management, sit back and continue to let this happen. IMHO, you now are getting dangerously close to where i think someone will take you over and i hope the first thing they do is realize how stupid you all were and replace you all.
