But before I get into that, I would like to touch on something someone mentioned earlier regarding government grants. LIT are apt marketers. The government does not seek out companies to give grants to, they are applied for by the companies themselves. LIT did this. Once obtained, LIT squeezed every last drop of marketing out of it and scream it from the top of the (copper) mountain. Reality is, it is typically a 2:1 spend... i.e you spend $2 with the govt and they will give you $1 to spend doing work on that project. Catch is, it can only be used to employ someone in the govt to do work on that project to develop tech. Not studies, not testwork, not drilling, just govt employees.
L-max is neat in that it targets the mica only. That means that if petallite, spodumene etc are present, they can be recovered using the convention processing either before or after L-max. In these cases the Spod or Pet are convenient byproducts which are sold as concentrates (not lithium carb).
