I am coming to the conclusion that Crazy Punter is just......just crazy.
He engages in hyperbole (large overstated and unsubstantiated generalizations). For example, his predictions of Amazon's impact in the Australian market, and why. We can all make assertions without evidence, most of us choose not to.
While having a large market share may preclude Bunnings from engaging in large acquisitions without the approval of the ACCC, it does not stop organic growth, as others have rightly ponted out. A company may continue to add new store locations, and may increase their sales per square metre without any reference to regulations.
