Here is why the STT thread works?

On STT people are allowed to post there opinions on sectors and stocks without personal attacks.

What happens on STT is others will provide honest feedback to comments made, which is excellent. Sometimes we may think something or a company looks great and have another poster provide another opinion which if valid is excellent and may help us re-think our view.

I can tell you that over the last few months I have decreasing my time on HC due to personal attacks and bullying. It seems number of posters have been targeting me and I almost got to the point of leaving HC for good but im going too! I enjoy reading and the community spirit specially on the STT thread.

We are all human so please don't bully or target anyone!

This goes out to all the "heart" posters, the problem is sometimes that people think just cos you have a "heart" that makes to smarter and better then a poster without......we are all equal. What makes a smart poster is someone well researched and that has a great trading strategy that person could have 1 follower or 1000 followers.

I remember 2-3 years ago I could come on here and express my views freely and enjoy the discussions with the STT family. Now I come on and as soon as I come on a new stock thread etc, I find I'm receiving many comments about "here he comes to pump" or "heart brigade" or get told that I can influence the spec market LOL!

I'm just a humble retail investor like everyone else here! Use my research and base that on my investments and also this thread helps too!

Whilst I had a good 2016 my 2017 hasn't been great and I think that's because I was spending too much time replying on HC and social media and not 1. - Spending more quality time with the family and 2. - Spending time researching, 3. - Enjoying my involvement here as a reader and poster.

I'm sure many other posters with a larger following have had similar problems over time.....

Anyways on a positive note

This place really provides every hot sector and with your own added research you can get into many of those sectors early and find a good return, just remember to take profits!

For me I'm looking at

Cobalt - ARL
Lithium - TAW
Vanadium - TMT

Anything in the battery space looks the best option over the medium term!

Also Zinc and Tin and perhaps gold for another run soon.

Still holding all my DTZ and really like it's prospects long term (Holding a core and trading parcel)

Sorry for my dibble just wanted to get it out there, will help me feel better if anything else.

Don't forget that there is a human behind the screen of every poster!

Finally thank you to all the regular posters on the STT thread, sharing research means it saves all of us time and effort. So thank you thank you to all, you know who you are. I won't mention names as there is so many!
