    It's entirely possible that one of the owners of DDR (with their holding through a custodian - JPM or BNP), is off-loading because many other non bank/mining companies have also fallen in price.

    MYX, SRV, NVT, SRX, SDI, MMS... I can keep going, but you get the idea.

    It could be that they're selling what they perceive to be cheap, for something they perceive to be cheaper.

    Of course, this doesn't change the quality of DDR as a business. And if you view it worthy of your capital (i.e. you think it's cheap, relative to other opportunities and your IRR expectations), then the price fluctuations don't matter.
