Of course also the value of the plant can be written up to replacement cost. Remember that the book value of the plant was written down at one stage to a figure well below cost. Also the IP is probably not shown as its true current value. The value of Crown and Duncan is also not shown and the value of Mt Weld in the books may not be truly represented.
I have a car written down to a miniscule value bookwise but you certainly cant buy it off me for book value.
