Personally very happy with Fedora. Have had several iterations starting with Red Hat and continuing up to Fedora 16. I'm about to rebuild again with release Fedora 25. I did look at CentOS and Scientific Linux (both open variants of the latest Red Hat) butI'm finding these a bit to fiddly to get what I need. Also If I do need windows, I just run up a virtual machine with Win loaded in it. Keep a base/clean version as well as a working one. If anything goes wrong I just blow the corrupted one away and make a new copy. Works a treat. The only real grief I get is running MYOB. For a non-windows complient program MYOB wont run on anything else!
