wife selling shares, board members selling share, amazon coming to town...
having lived in japan for the past 4 years, there's no telling how big a game changer amazon could be for Australia. if they can nail same day/next day delivery, then look out. anything you want, a tent, a pair of sneakers, a toaster, a laptop, delivered either same day or next day, lower price than harvey norman/JBH/good guys etc... to give you some idea of the efficiency in japan, the moment i realise i need something, lets say a new battery for my camera, i just go on amazon, find the item, order it, select the time i want the item to arrive (if its early morning, i could select 8pm that night once im home from work) and boom, item arrives that night. japan obviously has a much more sophisticated postal service that exists in a much more compact country, but the convenience is unparalleled...
