SGH staff and SGH management are not mutually inclusive. It is an assumption to suggest that SGH staff will fall on their own sword just to keep those who created this mess at the big table. Especially if you consider that many of the SGH staff who bought stock may have done so based on misrepresentations of financials. In that case I very much doubt they'd follow management out the door.
Also, when the board congratulated themselves with payrises for creating this fiasco - did they show the same generosity to SGH staff (who've had no hand in creating this mess but who now face the prospect of severe staff cuts to save the company) - I would speculate not. And I would suggest that their loyalty to management might not be the given which you and so many of your fellow holders assume it will be.
