We'd rather take in a polygamous family from Syria or Afghanistan consisting of three wives and 10 kids, give them 3 houses since polygamy is illegal and we have to pretend at least 2 are single mums.
We know the husband will never work because his duty to Islam is to see the kids every day. We know the wives will never work because they're illiterate and aren't allowed out of the house.
If we're lucky a few of the 10 kids might be employable, but probably no more employable than our existing domestic youth.
And we do this in prefrence to looking after our own homeless.
