I see there is an UPSTREAM Online article ( not a subscriber so can't see the entire article) dated 8 March where this is stated under heading "Cairn lays out Senegal timeline":
"Cairn Energy could make a final investment decision (FID) on a Senegal offshore development as early as the end of next year, but first oil is ....." ( I take it the writer got that from the Cairn presso).
Of course, if there are big surprises embedded (pun intended) in VR1, that could spark a re-rating. The inverse also quite possible.
